Kevin Ruiz Joins Northeastern in Miami
Kevin Ruiz, Northeastern University: Director, Global Launch Services & Strategic Partnerships
Northeastern University announces Kevin Ruiz as a founding member of the Miami campus with responsibility for leading strategic partnership development and positioning the campus as an asset in greater Miami. With this appointment, Kevin becomes a Director within the Northeastern University Global Launch Services team and will contribute to the success of this growing global university system. He joins from Venture Miami, a high-profile initiative to advance an innovation ecosystem and economy for the City of Miami, and has held senior business development roles in economic development and real estate. Kevin earned his undergraduate in Marketing from the University of Florida-Warrington College of Business and an MBA from the University of Miami.
Kevin will be responsible for translating Northeastern’s mission objectives around lifelong learning, experiential education, and use-inspired research to develop a strategy contextualized to the realities and opportunities of Miami; raising awareness of and promoting Northeastern’s unique brand with civic, industry, and academic leaders; working directly with industry executives to uncover the educational needs of their workforce and ensuring the dialogue is inspiring innovation for both parties.
