Sayda believes that success in recruiting exceptional leaders begins with research. She tailors client-specific research strategies to source extraordinary and distinctive leaders. Sayda loves to bridge the worlds of her passions: recruitment, mission-driven organizations, and cutting edge DEI strategies. She is interested in amplifying the voices of underrepresented groups by helping them advance into positions of leadership in top organizations across the country.
Before joining Pearl Street Collective, Sayda was Manager of Research and Diversity Engagement at Koya Leadership Partners. In that role, she focused her efforts on building relationships with DEI groups to create talent pipelines of outstanding candidates. Eager to engage in public conversations, Sayda has published an opinion piece in the Boston Business Journal in which she underscored the centrality of workplace discomfort in making progress in DEI. She was also a major contributor to “The Governance Gap,” a white paper that analyzed the diversity composition of nonprofit boards nationally.
Sayda is an alumna of the AmeriCorps VISTA program. She holds a bachelor’s in Political Science from Moravian College. She is also a graduate of several postgraduate training programs at Cornell, Harvard, and NYU. Having spent all of her professional life in Washington D.C. and Boston, Sayda is elated to call sunny Los Angeles her new home.
