co-founder & Managing Partner
Maeve brings more than twenty years of blended nonprofit and executive search leadership to her role as co-founder and managing partner of Pearl Street. She expertly oversees the firm’s search operations to set a fair and equitable foundation upon which each successful client engagement is conducted, and leads select recruiting engagements.
Maeve has built, trained, and guided research teams for multiple search firms in the nonprofit and for-profit sectors, and was an integral contributor to the launch of two national search firms before establishing Pearl Street. Her nonprofit career includes functional roles at Harvard University, a charter school network, and a community nonprofit, as well as board experience.
As our chief knowledge officer, Maeve brings an orientation of continuous learning to her work, as well as an inquisitive nature and unmatched ability to transform accessible data into strategic project information. She designed and oversees Pearl Street’s business intelligence and data analytics function, which has accelerated the firm’s time to generate a candidate pool by more than 30% and supports the firm’s nearly 50% success rate in placing candidates who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.
She has served on the board of Girls Inc of San Diego, volunteered with SquashBusters and Women of Color in Fundraising & Philanthropy (WOC), and is a member of the Allies in Action Membership Network. A Boston native, she lives outside San Diego with her husband and young son.
