Ava brings expertise in international development, grant writing, research and policy analysis from her roles at the United Nations and various nonprofit organizations including Water 1st International and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. At Pearl Street, she provides market intelligence and trend analysis across nonprofit sectors and contributes to the overall learning and continuous improvement of our search teams. She is responsible for discovery and prospect identification in support of searches for mission-driven and higher education clients.
Ava leads with a commitment to racial justice and equity. Her mission drive radiates and has always driven her to action. She led the Student Government Association at Seton Hall University in outreach to urge legislators against repealing the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. Ava frequently travels to Bangladesh to raise awareness for and advance clean water initiatives. She has also created mentor plans to help youth implement action projects and discover ways to create impact.
She holds a bachelor’s in Diplomacy & International Relations from Seton Hall University and speaks English, Bengali, French, and Spanish.
